- Purchase information: books purchased, order amounts, and currency preference. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card number.
- Usage data: pages visited, books read, and language/currency preferences, used solely to improve the platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and digital library.
- To process orders and confirm purchases via Stripe.
- To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
- To send order confirmation emails. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
3. Third-Party Services
- Stripe — handles all payment processing and is PCI-DSS compliant. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Supabase — provides our database, authentication, and file storage infrastructure.
- Vercel — hosts the Bloomnest application globally.
- We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
4. Children's Privacy
- Bloomnest is a marketplace for children's books, but accounts must be created by a parent or guardian aged 18 or older.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
- If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
5. Data Retention
- We retain your account data for as long as your account is active.
- Order records are kept for legal and accounting purposes for up to 7 years.
- You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us.
